Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Lead Payment Card Industry Compliance Advisor to oversee PCI DSS compliance for the Consumer and Business Banking line. This role serves as the SME for PCI and leads assessments, coordination with QSAs, and remediation efforts.

The Lead role partners with business, technology, information security, and enterprise risk stakeholders to facilitate ongoing PCI compliance, drive readiness activities, and support risk management across PCI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of applicable experience in risk/compliance or PCI domains.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Lead PCI Compliance Advisor and SME for PCI DSS requirements.
• Coordinate PCI compliance activities including assessment readiness and remediation tracking.
• Partner with business, technology, information security and risk stakeholders to maintain ongoing PCI compliance.
• Lead identification, documentation, and maintenance of PCI scope (CDEs, connected systems, processes).
• Coordinate PCI assessments and act as liaison between stakeholders, QSAs, and enterprise partners.
• Provide guidance on PCI requirements, controls, and compliance obligations.
• Identify gaps, risks, and remediation approaches; track progress of remediation activities.
