Qualifications

• Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration.
• Ability to pass the pre-hire assessment.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates daily work activities of assigned crew or co-workers; organizes tasks and priorities; monitors progress and quality of work.
• Performs payroll duties: reviews and enters timesheets, maintains timekeeping records, prints/payroll registers, and submits to payroll; handles tax changes and distributions.
• Performs personnel duties; educates staff on payroll/personnel policies and procedures; assists management with technical issues.
• Prepares FMLA requests; processes FMLA and leave requests; maintains related records.
• Assist with insurance benefits enrollment and liaison with benefit vendors.
• Maintains personnel files and updates salary changes, promotions, and other records; prepares related reports.
• Assists with hiring procedures and new employee orientation; coordinates onboarding activities.
• Serves as a primary contact with HR, Payroll, IT and Workers' Compensation on payroll/personnel matters.
