Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: two-year degree in bookkeeping, accounting or related field.
• Experience: three years in a role comparable to Account Technician with payroll experience.
• Knowledge: basic accounting principles, governmental accounting, and payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• Compile and interpret data for payroll processing and reporting.
• Input and verify timesheets across multiple sites and departments.
• Supervise and review subordinate clerks in payroll maintenance and data entry.
• Maintain records for salaries, fund appropriations, and expenditures in accounting systems.
