Job summary

Target is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Analyst – Payment Fraud Strategy to shape the enterprise approach to payment fraud risk. You will own the strategy, align partners, and drive measurable outcomes across Target’s omni-channel ecosystem.

The role requires building a forward-looking fraud program, communicating with executives, and ensuring secure growth while protecting guest trust in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in cybersecurity, fraud strategy, payment fraud, financial crimes, risk management or related field.
• Understanding of fraud threats, payment ecosystems, and identity fraud patterns.
• Experience developing strategy, aligning roadmaps and driving outcomes.
• Ability to analyze trends, performance metrics, and risk signals.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Payment Fraud Strategy Area including vision and roadmap.
• Partner with teams to align fraud work with enterprise strategy and outcomes.
• Translate trends into strategic direction for partners and leaders.
• Create visibility into fraud outcomes, dollars, and model performance.
• Identify gaps, risks, and investment needs across the fraud ecosystem.
• Align cross-functional partners across Cybersecurity, Finance, Product, Tech and more.
• Support executive communication with clear strategy and tradeoffs.
• Ensure payment fraud strategy enables secure growth and guest trust.
