Job summary

Qualifications

• CPR certification for healthcare providers within 90 days; additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department.

Responsibilities

• Acts as department liaison/point person between transporters and Imaging Administration.
• Assists with selection, training, orienting and assigning department staff; maintains communication with subordinates.
• Contributes to achievement of department goals; adheres to policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Ensures delivery of quality services for patients; serves as an educational resource.
• Manages daily activities of transporters; develops staffing schedules and time-off requests.
• Maintains equipment; reports malfunctions and safety hazards; supports quality and service improvement teams.
