Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ seeks an experienced patient registrations lead to ensure prompt and accurate onboarding for incoming patients. You will greet, register, schedule and provide general information while maintaining confidentiality and high service levels.

Responsibilities include verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, preparing patient charts, and leading a front-desk team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment consistent with the Patient’s Bill of Rights.

Short Description

• Lead others in providing prompt and accurate patient registrations while delivering good customer service.
• Must be able to multitask and work in a team environment.
• This individual serves as a lead and the front-line contact person for all incoming patients.
• The incumbent will greet, register, schedule and provide general information to patients and/or their families.
• Ensures that insurance information is verified, co-pays are collected, and that patient charts are prepared in advance.
• At all times ensures a high level of customer service by providing patient confidentiality and care in accordance with the Patient’s Bill of Rights.

Experience Required

• 3 years experience in a medical environment required.
• IDX experience, some knowledge of medical insurances preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Computer literate, excellent communication and customer service skills.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Special Requirements

All incumbents must satisfactorily complete a Cooper IDX training program to include: Registration, Scheduling, E-Commerce and FSC.
