Job summary

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a Lead Patient Care Tech to join our nursing team and deliver compassionate care that positively affects patients’ lives daily. You will provide hands-on patient care, support advanced procedures, and mentor both new and seasoned tech staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs and mobility, documenting care, maintaining safety and infection prevention, proactive rounding, and leading training on policies and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with ADLs and mobility
• Documenting patient care and communicating updates to the nursing team
• Maintaining a safe, clean environment and infection prevention practices
• Responding to patient needs through rounding and compassionate communication
• Training new team members and sharing updates on policies and quality initiatives
