Qualifications

• Born-again believer in Jesus Christ.
• Becomes member of the East Arlington Baptist Church upon acceptance of call.
• Is in possession of the spiritual gift of pastor/teacher with a distinct concern for the flock.
• Previous successful ministries will be considered.
• Able to keep all appropriate information confidential.
• Review and sign 'Worker’s Objectives' form.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and feed the flock; equip the saints; edify the body of Christ.
• Lead and oversee worship services and preaching ministry.
• Provide leadership for discipleship and spiritual development.
• Lead evangelism efforts and promote missionary outreach.
• Serve as moderator of congregational and Official Board meetings in the chairman's absence.
• Shall be ex-officio member of all committees.
• Oversee membership and baptismal classes and report to the church.
