Qualifications

• Born-again believer in Jesus Christ
• Becomes member of the East Arlington Baptist Church upon acceptance of call
• Possession of the spiritual gift of pastor/teacher with concern for flock welfare
• Previous successful ministries will be considered
• Able to keep all information confidential
• Review and sign “Worker’s Objectives” form

Responsibilities

• Preach the Word of God during worship services and lead congregational worship
• Oversee the worship environment and service facilitation
• Provide discipleship and teaching ministries, mentoring members
• Lead and oversee counseling and follow-up ministries
• Provide leadership and instruction for leadership development
• Oversee membership and baptismal classes
• Moderate congregational and official board meetings when needed
• Provide annual reports to the church and keep committees informed
