Job summary

Alliance South is seeking a Lead Pastor to guide the church in biblical teaching, shepherding, and community outreach. The role emphasizes discipleship, mentoring, and spiritual growth within a church community.

The candidate should have extensive pastoral experience, preferably as a lead pastor, and a seminary education with CMA licensing or willingness to obtain it. The position requires a heart for families and youth ministry, and a commitment to theological integrity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pastoral experience, preferably as a lead pastor.
• Desire to disciple and foster spiritual growth in the local church.
• Ability to edify others in their spiritual gifts and lead with biblical integrity.
• Strong relational skills: shepherding, care-giving, and mentoring."

Responsibilities

• Get to know church members personally and provide appropriate and timely care.
• Willingness to visit members as requested or needed.
• Mentor others in their commitment to follow Christ.
• Develop and execute discipling and mentoring ministries of the church.
• Lead or assist in established children and youth ministries.
