Job summary

Living Hope Bible Church in Glendive, MT is seeking a full-time Pastor (Lead Vocational Elder) to oversee preaching, vision, and overall direction. The role requires shepherding the church, guarding doctrine, and coordinating with lay elders and staff as part of LHBC's leadership team.

The Vocational Elder will lead by example, develop leaders, and advance the church’s gospel-centered mission through teaching, mentoring, and strategic ministry implementation.

Qualifications

• Elder-qualified (1 Tim. 3; Titus 2).
• Demonstrates servant leadership and relational acumen.
• Aligns with LHBC beliefs, purpose, vision, and values.
• Communicates the Gospel clearly and shepherds people biblically.
• Trains and develops leaders and teams within the church.

Responsibilities

• Lead preaching and teaching ministry at LHBC.
• Shepherd and disciple members; oversee church doctrinal health.
• Align elder priorities with the elders’ vision.
• Develop leaders and equip lay elders for ministry.
