The Alliance South District of the C&MA seeks qualified Lead/Solo Pastor candidates for a modest-sized congregation in eastern Tennessee. The role requires licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance and a strong commitment to exegetical preaching.

Candidates should be in agreement with the C&MA statement of faith, align with Alliance polity, and uphold a complementarian, conservative evangelical stance with ten years of pastoral experience.

Qualifications

• Be in agreement with the C&MA statement of faith and Alliance polity.
• If not currently holding Alliance credentials, meet standards for accreditation in the Alliance.
• Be committed to exegetical preaching.
• Be complementarian in their understanding of gender roles.
• Be conservative in their evangelical perspective.
• Have ten years of pastoral experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide lead/solo pastoral leadership for a modest-sized congregation in eastern Tennessee.
• Be licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance; participate in accreditation/licensing steps as required.
• Serve as a preaching-focused pastor with a commitment to sound doctrine and community leadership.
