Responsibilities

  • Performs a full range of administrative supervisory duties including hiring, counseling, evaluating, and disciplining employees.
  • Manages short-term and long-term planning related to emergency response and safety training of subordinate personnel, park employees, and park partners.
  • Oversees daily park operations in conjunction with supervisors from other divisions in the park.
  • Prepares new or revised guidelines and operating procedures on emergency services activities, EMS, fire control, rescue, and emergency management.
  • Manages and participates in all-hazards emergency incidents.
  • Organizes and schedules all-hazards emergency services training.
  • Oversees, develops, and instructs emergency services and related outreach training.
