Job summary

Midway Painting Company is seeking an experienced Lead Painter to join our team of skilled professionals. You will work closely with the foreman and other team members to ensure painting projects are completed with precision, consistency, and high-quality craftsmanship.

This role is ideal for a painter with leadership experience who is ready to step up without taking on full foreman responsibilities. We encourage growth within the team and emphasize safety, quality, and teamwork on each project.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional painting experience, including guiding or mentoring others.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship.
  • Solid knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques, and coatings.
  • Ability to work well with a crew and take direction from the foreman.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the foreman in executing the daily plan and maintaining job site standards.
  • Take the lead on specific painting tasks and provide guidance to less experienced painters.
  • Ensure all work meets Midway Painting Company’s quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized job sites and assist with equipment setup and cleanup.
  • Communicate clearly with the team to stay on schedule and adapt to project needs.
  • Help maintain painting tools, materials, and proper usage on site.
