Job summary

Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay, WI is seeking a Paint Foreman for the Paint Department on 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:30am–4:00pm. This leadership role oversees up to 30 employees, coordinating surface prep, abrasive blasting, coating application, and touch-up on new ship construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.

Domestic travel may be required. The ideal candidate has strong marine coating knowledge, ability to read drawings and specifications, and proven supervisory

Qualifications

• Experience reading shipbuilding drawings and coating specs.
• Proven ability to plan surface prep, coating, and touch-up work.
• Experience leading up to 30 employees.
• Willingness to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate paint department activities for new construction, renovation, and maintenance.
• Supervise on-site progress, ensure quality and safety standards.
• Plan overtime and manage work schedules to meet deadlines.
• Provide guidance and accountability to team.
