• Leads efforts to improve documentation of the plan of care, care delivered, and patient outcomes.
• Engages patients and families in the plan of care and collaborates with the health care team.
• Ensures safety, regulatory compliance and quality improvement in the PACU environment.
• Integrates age-specific concepts into patient care and uses teach-back methods to educate patients and families.
