Overview

Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is looking for a Lead PACS Administrator to join our team!

The Lead PACS Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations and interoperations of the PACS system and the services it provides. The role involves system monitoring, user management, troubleshooting, policy development, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Additionally, the Lead PACS Administrator supports the Radiology Department's operations, including resource coordination, quality assurance, and equipment evaluation. The position requires effective communication with technical and clinical staff, vendor management, and end-user training. Responsibilities also include developing policies, protocols, and contingency plans for PACS operations.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between Clinical/Radiology and IT to facilitate troubleshooting and system uptime.
  • Work with vendors, IT, clinicians, and radiologists to integrate hospital systems for improved patient care.
  • Manage the acquisition, storage, retrieval, and use of healthcare information.
  • Provide training for PACS end-users and develop protocols for quality control and compliance.
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures and contingency policies.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Completion of formal Radiological Technology Training program.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years working with Health IT Systems (PACS, HIS, RIS, EDIS, PM)

Desired:

  • Post-Baccalaureate certification in Health IT, CIS.
