Job summary

Wolverine Industries is seeking a Packer to ensure finished goods are packed to customer requirements and quality standards. The role includes inspecting materials, setting up packing queues, and maintaining packing equipment on a fast-paced production floor.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, and be willing to work nights/weekends with overtime. Forklift/crane certifications and manufacturing experience are a plus; strong teamwork and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to obtain forklift and crane certifications.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Available for nights, weekends, and occasional overtime.
• Able to read production documents and safety manuals.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Packer finished goods to customer specifications and requirements.
• Inspect materials for quality and correct packing per procedures.
• Set up packing queue to ensure next orders are ready for shipment.
• Operate and maintain packing equipment and report issues.
• Train new team members on packing procedures and safety rules.
• Keep packing area clean and well-organized.
• Support production team to meet quotas and productivity targets.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives in packing.
