Location: 11320 E. Main Street, Huntley, IL 60142
Summary
With general supervision, removes and inspects completed thermoformed sheets from the machine and packs cartons per job specifications. Leads, trains, and directs all Packer/Inspectors and their activities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads, trains, and directs all Packer/Inspectors and their activities.
- Monitors the production process and completes product reports.
- Provides production data including scrap data as requested.
- Removes completed thermoformed sheets from the thermoforming machines.
- Visually inspects each thermoformed sheet and removes non-conforming products as per inspection control plan and/or visual samples per operator/Q.A. instructions.
- Reports all non-conforming parts to the operator.
- Assembles cardboard cartons.
- Removes individual parts from thermoformed sheets and stacks them per job specifications.
- Loads parts into cartons and seals each carton.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical and Visual Demands
- Standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, reading, writing, talking.
- Carrying and/or lifting up to 50 pounds.

- Leadership skills
- Good working knowledge of Quality Control procedures
- Ability to read and understand job specification sheets
- Ability to lift, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day

Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year Packer/Inspector experience
- IQMS experience preferred
Machines, Tools, and Equipment
- Thermoformers, scanners, measuring instruments, computer, IQMS
Environmental Demands
- Exposure to heat, fumes, greases, lubricants
