Job summary

Zoetis is seeking a Process Engineer in Lithia Springs, GA to provide primary engineering support for Packaging, visual inspection, and product transfers in a GMP environment.

The role involves packaging startup, commissioning activities, development of test protocols, SOPs, deviation/change control, and cross-functional collaboration to improve capacity, efficiency, and product quality while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in an Engineering discipline; 6+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience with GMP contract manufacturers and third‑party suppliers.
• Aseptic manufacturing or Packaging experience preferred.
• Experience with pharmaceutical equipment and test method validation is preferred.
• Familiarity with Operational Excellence tools such as DMAIC, 5 WHY’s, Fishbones, FMEA.
• Green belt or Black belt certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary engineering support for Packaging, visual inspection, and product transfers.
• Lead packaging startup, commissioning, and improvements.
• Develop and execute test protocols and reports for new or modified processes.
• Develop and review Packaging SOPs; manage deviations/change controls.
• Investigate root causes of Packaging issues; implement improvements and countermeasures.
• Collaborate across functions to improve operations and ensure compliance.
