Job summary

Zoetis, a global leader in animal health, seeks a Process Engineer to provide engineering support for Packaging, inspection, transfers, and startup activities in a GMP environment. You will lead packaging projects, optimize processes, validate new equipment, and drive continuous improvement across the site.

The role requires a BS in Engineering with 6+ years in regulated manufacturing, experience with PAS-X/SAP/EBR-MES, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field; 6+ years in regulated manufacturing.
• Experience in GMP environments, aseptic or packaging preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing process design and improvement.
• Experience with contract manufacturers and third-party suppliers.
• Proficiency with validation methods and test methods.

Responsibilities

• Act as Packaging system owner during startup activities.
• Lead and support packaging implementation and improvements.
• Support PAS-X usage and qualification activities.
• Develop and review packaging SOPs and change controls.
• Support deviations and CAPA related to packaging lines and transfers.
• Lead projects for packaging process optimization and plant design.
• Analyze packaging processes for capacity, efficiency, and quality improvements.
• Develop requirements for new capital equipment and supplier evaluations.
• Create and execute test protocols for new or modified processes.
• Investigate root causes of packaging issues and implement corrective actions.
• Identify sources of variation and design sustainable solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.
• Collaborate with enabling support teams to improve site operations.
• Maintain quality and safety standards; support audits and compliance.
