Job summary

Bosch USA is seeking a Lead Packaging Operator at our Lincolnton, NC site to ensure packaging equipment and processes run safely, efficiently, and in line with work instructions.

You will serve as the primary technical resource, supporting machine setup, parameter adjustments, and end‑to‑end process flow while floating to cover packaging areas as needed. Strong technical aptitude and leadership on the floor are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of packaging equipment and operation.
• Ability to adjust machine parameters and optimize performance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership on the floor.
• Knowledge of FIFO and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machines are properly set up with correct tooling, materials, and recipes before or during production.
• Work in assigned position while floating to support all packaging areas as needed.
• Ensure completion of First Piece and Last Piece inspections and maintain product quality.
• Adjust and optimize machine parameters to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Communicate machine status, issues, and corrective actions clearly to team members.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area.
