Job summary

Bosch USA in Lincolnton, NC is seeking a skilled Machining Technician to support brazing on a new production line at the Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center. You will load/unload, operate and troubleshoot multiple machines, and perform quality checks to ensure targets are met and processes run smoothly.

You will also set up parameters, maintain cleanliness, train new associates, and may travel for training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical or vocational schooling a plus.
• 3–5 years in metalworking manufacturing; cutting tools experience a plus.
• Experience with HMI/CNC interfaces and robots.
• Ability to learn new processes, machines and technology.
• Setup machines and measuring devices; read SOPs.
• Flexible for different shifts and overtime; stand 8 hours; dexterity.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs; read instructions and product prints.
• Proficient with measuring devices and cleanliness procedures; forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload, operate, adjust, change-over and maintain multiple machines.
• Set up parameters, perform quality checks, clean machines (confined spaces).
• Support 5S and assist with troubleshooting/maintenance.
• Communicate with Planning, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality.
• Train and monitor new production associates and meet daily targets.
