Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Allentown, PA, is seeking a Manager, Packaging and Labeling (2nd Shift) to oversee daily packaging operations for clinical products, mentor staff, ensure compliance with cGMP and SOPs, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires 3-5 years in a regulated environment and 3-5 years of people leadership; a bachelor’s degree is required. You will collaborate with Quality, Client Services and Facilities while maintaining safety and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years in a regulated environment (cGXP industry) required.
• 3-5 years of people management/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workflow to maximize productivity, efficiency and quality using data and SOPs.
• Maintain awareness of business and financial results and align with division goals.
• Apply GMP in all areas of responsibility and lead SOP implementation.
• Train and ensure adherence to cGMP and SOP guidelines by packaging staff.
• Ensure health and safety policies and product quality standards are met.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Client Services and Facilities.
