Job summary

American Regent, Inc. in Shirley, New York is seeking a Packaging/Inspection Technician IV responsible for setup and maintenance of inspection and packaging lines. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience and will perform troubleshooting and maintenance on various equipment.

This role requires the ability to work independently while ensuring safety and compliance with cGMP practices. The position also includes mentoring responsibilities for new hires and maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of previous relevant experience in a manufacturing working environment.
• Well versed in safety programs (Lock out/Tag out).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Setup and break down of inspection and packaging lines.
• Perform equipment corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Mentor and train new hires and junior personnel.

Skills

Troubleshooting equipment/system issues

Use of small hand tools

Working knowledge of cGMP

Ability to follow instructions

Basic Microsoft Office skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

5 years of experience in manufacturing

Tools

Digital multi-meter

Pneumatics knowledge
