Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC is seeking a Staff Packaging Design Engineer to lead the design, development and validation of innovative packaging solutions. You will direct a small team, use CAD and 2D/3D modeling, and apply simulation tools to drive product development.

Mentorship and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing plants are core parts of the role. You will manage multiple projects from concept to validation, ensure regulatory and safety compliance, and partner with Product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing multiple projects.
• Proficiency with CAD software, 2D/3D modeling, and simulations.
• Strong background in new product development and prototyping.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and 3D printing is preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams and provide technical direction.
• Oversee project planning, prioritization, and implementation.
• Coordinate multiple projects with varying complexity.
• Solve complex engineering problems and provide solutions.
• Ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations.

• Perform line trials and approve designs for production.
• Develop design libraries and monitor vendor progress.
• Utilize simulation to optimize outcomes and reduce time to market.
