Job summary

Jobot is seeking a qualified veterinary leader to oversee a growing clinic. You will manage medical operations, lead staff, and drive financial performance while delivering exceptional animal care.

The ideal candidate holds a DVM, has 5+ years clinical experience with leadership, strong diagnostic and surgical skills, and a proven ability to grow a practice through client relationships and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• DVM from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years as a practicing veterinarian with leadership/ownership preferred.
• Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills.
• Strong business acumen with clinic management experience.
• Exceptional communication with clients and staff.
• Current licensure in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the veterinary clinic including medical operations, staff management and financial performance.
• Provide high-quality medical care to animals, diagnose diseases, perform surgeries and vaccinate.
• Build and maintain client relationships to ensure care quality and satisfaction.
• Train and mentor staff to stay updated with medical practices and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with laws and maintain high animal welfare standards.
• Develop strategies to grow the business, including marketing and client retention.
• Handle administrative tasks such as record-keeping, budgeting, and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

1. 1. Overseeing all aspects of the veterinary clinic, including medical operations, staff management, and financial performance.
2. 2. Providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals, including diagnosing diseases, performing surgeries, and administering vaccinations.
3. 3. Building and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring their pets receive the best possible care and they are satisfied with our services.
4. 4. Training and mentoring veterinary staff to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest medical practices and procedures.
5. 5. Ensuring the clinic complies with all relevant laws and regulations, maintaining the highest standards of animal care and welfare.
6. 6. Developing and implementing strategies to grow the business, including marketing initiatives and client retention strategies.
7. 7. Handling administrative tasks such as record-keeping, budgeting, and inventory management.

Qualifications:

1. 1. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
2. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian, with experience in a leadership or ownership role highly preferred.
3. 3. Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills.
4. 4. Strong business acumen with experience in managing a veterinary clinic or similar business.
5. 5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and staff.
6. 6. A deep passion for animal care and welfare, with a commitment to delivering the highest standards of care.
7. 7. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
8. 8. Proficiency in using veterinary software and technology.
9. 9. Current licensure in good standing to practice veterinary medicine.
