Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services, LLC is seeking an Overhead Distribution Working Foreperson in Kernersville, NC. The role oversees crew operations for overhead distribution and transmission systems, with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will manage daily job tasks, ensure tool testing, and coordinate with the General Foreperson. The position requires 5+ years in electrical power line construction, strong communication, and ability to operate heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong written and spoken communication.
• Experience working with energized high voltage systems.
• Ability to identify, operate and service field tools and equipment (bucket truck, digger derrick truck, tensioners, puller, rollers, hand tamp, chain saw, concrete saw, shovel).

Responsibilities

• Directs and assists crew with all parts of the electrical system.
• Obtain and review daily job description; follow up with General Foreperson.
• Ensure daily testing and inspection of tools and equipment.
• Solve problems in diverse, unidentified conditions on job sites.
• Enforce safety program at field level for crew.
• Ensure employees are trained and qualified for work.
• Ensure safety rules are understood and followed by staff.
• Conduct quality job briefings and safety inspections.
• Report all injuries and incidents to supervision.
• Perform duties related to overhead power supply installation.
