Job summary

TEiC is seeking a Lead Construction Project Manager for Outage Services to drive project execution from inception to completion. You will plan, schedule, staff, and manage safety, quality, procurement, subcontractors, reporting, and customer relations on multi-million dollar outages.

You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management while maintaining strong client communication and adherence to industry standards. Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in industrial or utility construction management.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods for piping, combined cycle, gas turbines, simple cycle projects.
• Experience with budgeting and estimating for construction projects.
• Experience with scheduling construction projects.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors on construction projects.
• Experience with outage planning.
• Experience managing customer relationships across the full project lifecycle.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training completed prior to hire or within 30 days of onboarding.
• NCCCO Rigger Level I certification preferred; willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Fluent English communications (written and verbal).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Existing construction crew that can be brought to the project is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive project work plans and adapt to evolving needs.
• Oversee day-to-day project operations in line with scope, objectives, and timelines.
• Complete all project documentation and reports accurately and promptly.
• Monitor budgets and expenses to keep projects within constraints.
• Staff hiring for project needs, define requirements, interview, and select personnel.
• Identify resource needs and allocate responsibilities to optimize productivity.
• Uphold rigorous quality control and ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and address their needs and expectations.
• Mitigate project risks with comprehensive risk management strategies.
• Apply agile responses to evolving project needs and stakeholder expectations.
