Job summary

Cyient is seeking an OSP Fiber Field Surveyor / OSP Engineering Technician to perform pole surveys and assess telecom infrastructure. The role involves collecting field data, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with managers, engineers, customers, and utility reps.

You will ensure accurate records and adhere to safety and deadlines. Ideal candidates have OSP/telecom experience, knowledge of fiber networks, and strong data collection skills.

Qualifications

• OSP/telecommunications experience and fiber optic knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and maps.
• Experience collecting field data (GPS, measurements, photos).
• Familiarity with pole ownership, attachments, and safety procedures.

• Conduct utility pole surveys and telecommunications infrastructure assessments
• Verify pole ownership, attachments, clearances, and field conditions
