Job summary

Cosmocert, a leading Greek certification body, seeks a Senior Officer to conduct independent technical assessments of organic livestock production certification files, including beekeeping and mixed farming operations.

The role requires a university degree in agronomy or related fields, strong knowledge of organic systems, and experience in certification or QA. Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17065 and strong analytical documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in Agronomy, Animal Production, Veterinary Medicine, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Excellent knowledge of organic livestock production systems and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Experience in inspection, certification, technical evaluation, or quality assurance within the organic production sector.
• Good knowledge of ISO/IEC 17065 principles, particularly regarding impartiality and separation of roles. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to document and critically assess information.
