• Provide professional leadership and direction to maintain efficient delivery of patient care.
• Coordinate departmental operations and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Act as a resource, preceptor, and mentor to new employees and team members.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
• Participate in patient flow activities including admission and discharge processes.
• Conduct audits to ensure thorough documentation of assessments and care plans.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and motivate staff in clinical initiatives.
• Adjust staffing needs to assure quality patient care and safety.
• Facilitate inter-professional communication and collaboration.
