Job summary

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Greeley, CO is seeking an Optometric Assistant to administer visual tests, operate diagnostic equipment, and assist with eyewear fittings. You will report to the Lead Optometric Assistant and help maintain a smooth back-office workflow.

The role offers a pay range of $20–$25/hr with bonus opportunities, and benefits including PTO, holidays, and healthcare options. Prior vision practice experience is a plus and bilingual abilities are welcome.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a vision practice is a plus.
• Ability to tech, scribe, and perform optometric tasks.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in EHR systems.
• Ability to train and lead a team of Optometric Assistants.
• Ability to multitask and complete tasks on time.
• Preferred knowledge of optometric online software/database, Intero Order processing systems, Google Docs, and Document Portal Spreadsheet software.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, and audit frame board on a weekly basis.
• Order and track materials/supplies needed for back office.
• Ensure patients are teched and scribed in a timely manner and assists the team when falling behind.
• Educate patients on proper frame selection and lens options.
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.
