Job summary

ASML US, LLC in San Jose is seeking an Opto-Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and deliver advanced modules and tools for next-generation optically enhanced performance in e-beam systems. You will lead end-to-end technical delivery, drive design, integration, and realization of complex systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to meet performance, cost, and schedule targets.

This role requires MSc/PhD in a relevant field and 10+ years in optics and opto-mechanical

Qualifications

• Translate requirements into clear, traceable technical specifications
• Align interfaces to enable reliable design, integration and validation
• Apply precision motion, optics and tolerancing to meet targets
• Develop solutions that balance performance, cost and schedule

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical delivery for module performance and project scope
• Lead design, integration, and realization of complex opto-mechanical systems
• Make and guide technical trade-offs across sub-modules and interfaces
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners in complex environments
• Shape multi-year technical strategy and roadmap for your domain
• Ensure system integration, validation, and delivery from prototype to high-volume manufacturing
