Photon Queue Inc. is seeking a Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer in Lemont, Illinois, to own mechanical design for innovative hardware development. You will be responsible for translating optical and system-level requirements into detailed, manufacturable designs.

This on-site role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quick prototyping, testing, and design iterations. Successful candidates will have an M.S. in a relevant field and extensive experience in opto-mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• M.S. in Mechanical or Optical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of opto-mechanical design experience.
• High proficiency in CAD and BOM management.
• Strong understanding of thermal and structural analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own the opto-mechanical layout, CAD assembly and BOM.
• Conduct prototyping, testing, and engineering-level tests.
• Lead design reviews and manage component vendors.
