Job summary

Treatt North America in Lakeland, FL seeks an Experienced Operator to perform advanced production and inventory tasks across multiple areas, including blending, distillation, and stock control. You will work independently, troubleshoot equipment, and mentor new staff while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in production/logistics, and a high school diploma or GED. Forklift/HazMat certs are highly preferred for safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
• Experience in production, inventory, or logistics roles (1–3 years preferred).
• Forklift and hazardous materials certifications are strongly preferred.
• Proficient in operating production equipment and handling materials safely.
• Knowledge of GMP, MSDS, and safety documentation is essential.
• Able to perform measurements, conversions, and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate and monitor production equipment such as blending tanks, stills, and pumps.
• Perform complex material handling tasks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other tools.
• Conduct quality checks and document readings, measurements, and product specifications.
• Dispense, label, and package products with precision and compliance to standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts using JDE or similar systems.
• Lead sanitation and cleaning procedures for equipment and work areas.
• Identify and escalate equipment or process issues; assist in troubleshooting.
• Mentor entry-level operators and support onboarding and cross-training efforts.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety protocols, and operational standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
