Job summary

Brenntag North America is seeking a Production Operator in North Carolina to safely handle liquid and dry chemicals, mix and blend products, load and unload trucks, tanks, and railcars, and maintain precise inventory records.

You will operate forklifts and process equipment, verify product specifications, sample and assist in quality checks with lab personnel, and ensure all safety procedures and regulatory requirements are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or US military experience.
• 2+ years of chemical operations experience.
• Forklift certification and safe operation.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple English; basic math.
• Willingness to learn and operate technology-based devices (PLCs, tablets, computers).

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage process equipment to produce blended and manufactured products.
• Mixing/blending and manufacturing tasks safely and efficiently.
• Load/unload trucks, tankers, and railcars; monitor loads.
• Inspect tanks and equipment; verify products against documents.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and logs.
• Repackage products and ensure correct labeling and storage.
• Participate in safety programs and wear PPE.
