Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

• Possess a positive attitude towards safety and actively promote a safety-first culture among team members.
• Operate plant machinery and control process parameters.
• Maintain qualification on numerous aspects of Savor’s processing facility.
• Supervise fellow shift workers operating concurrently on various processing steps and provide assistance during upset conditions.
• Supervise and contribute to the operation of plant machinery and control process parameters.
• Supervise and contribute to setting up, operate, and clean production equipment including but not limited to tanks, pumps, and valves.
• Ensure proper sample collection and coordinate with QA/QC as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement of processes to improve safety, quality, and increase plant productivity.
• Perform cleaning and housekeeping activities.
• Attend mandatory safety and departmental meetings; lead additional meetings for shift personnel.
• Communicate courteously and positively to accomplish duties effectively, working as a team.
• Train operators on proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between shifts, ensuring smooth handovers and operational continuity.
• Document production data, create shift reports, and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Process Technology or similar with 3 years of experience OR minimum 7 years’ experience as a Process Operator or similar, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience handling hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs continuously.
• Previous food processing experience in a GMP environment, including knowledge of GMP and HACCP programs.
• Exceptional mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to oversee cleaning and housekeeping activities.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with production scheduling and staff coordination.
• Willing to work a full 12-hour swing shift.
• Ability to work indoors and in seasonally hot temperatures.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
