Job summary

Veolia North America is looking for an experienced Operating Engineer to monitor and control power plant equipment at a site in Oak Creek, WI. The candidate will operate gas engine generators, boilers, pumps, and biogas compressors, ensuring safe, efficient operation.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, 4+ years of relevant power plant experience, and an ASOPE First Class Operating Engineer License. The role involves rotating shifts and a strong focus on safety and maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Four years of experience operating power house equipment in plants containing high-pressure boilers.
• ASOPE First Class Operating Engineer License.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor gas engine generators, boilers, pumps and biogas compressors and auxiliary power plant equipment.
• Make manual adjustments on Power Plant equipment to maintain proper operating levels; collect and run boiler analysis.
• Maintain a maintenance log of daily readings and keep a clean, safe work area.
