Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Lead IT Project Technician to oversee and actively participate in a multi-week monitor refresh project. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and hands-on technical ability to ensure the smooth execution of daily project tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a working Lead Technician, actively participating in installation and deinstallation tasks.
- Coordinate daily with the Project Manager and recycling team to report progress and arrange timely pickup of old equipment.
- Manage and direct the onsite Tech team to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Deinstall old equipment, including monitors, monitor arms, and desktops; stage for collection by the recycling vendor.
- Install new dual monitors, PCs, monitor arms, keyboards, and mice at designated workstations.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with hardware refresh projects involving PCs, monitors, and peripherals.
- Must bring a standard technician tool kit.
- Proven leadership, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to document work clearly and effectively.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
