Job summary

Plexus Partners Ltd is seeking an Oncologist/Principal Investigator to lead industry-sponsored oncology trials across California, including Los Angeles, Murrieta and San Diego. You can choose one site or cover multiple, and work full-time or combine with clinical practice part-time.

The role focuses on science and patient care while a central team handles regulatory, budgets, start-up and sponsor relations. You’ll mentor coordinators as the site grows.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted California license or eligibility
• Board certified in medical oncology or hematology/oncology
• Experience as PI or sub-investigator on industry-sponsored trials
• Strong working knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations and IRB processes
• Based in California or willing to relocate

Responsibilities

• Serve as Principal Investigator on industry-sponsored oncology trials, Phase I–III
• Shape the clinical direction of the site including therapeutic focus and study selection
• Collaborate with leadership on feasibility, portfolio strategy and sponsor development
• Oversee protocol conduct, subject safety, and compliance with FDA regulations and ICH-GCP
• Oversee informed consent, eligibility and medical management of participants
• Represent site with sponsors/CROs at meetings, site visits and audits
• Mentor sub-investigators and coordinators as the team grows
