Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year applicable nursing experience.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in state(s) of practice or has an active compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies to improve patient engagement and rounds initiatives.
• Assists with interviewing, hiring recommendations, training, and performance management.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Supports inventory control and supplies/equipment management.
