Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Lead Study Coordinator to oversee oncology clinical trials, manage data and regulatory requirements, and lead a study coordination team. This heavy clinical research role reports to the Clinical Operations Manager and includes training responsibilities.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in clinical research coordination, with knowledge of ICH GCP and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ICH GCP, Federal Regulations and Guidelines and ability to follow established regulations, procedures, and protocols.
• Advanced knowledge of clinical research coordination.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to contribute to preparation and delivery of reports, trainings, and SOPs.
• Customer-oriented and team-oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead conduct and data management of oncology clinical trials in line with regulations.
• Manage protocol life cycles from activation to closure.
• Provide team lead and programmatic support and serve as preceptor for new hires.
• Support quality and regulatory compliance to safeguard research integrity.
