Job summary

City of Greer is seeking a dedicated events supervisor to ensure seamless on-site execution of all events at the facility. The role leads part-time staff, coordinates training, and liaises with promoters and renters to deliver exceptional service and adhere to safety and cleanliness standards.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Event Management, or Hospitality, plus three years of leadership in event management, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with three years of leadership in event management.
• Proven supervisory experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site event execution and ensure operational standards from start to finish.
• Direct and oversee part-time event staff and coordinate schedules.
• Train staff and enforce discipline to maintain high performance.
• Consult with promoters and renters to meet setup requirements and facility needs.
• Ensure client satisfaction and facility integrity throughout events.
