Job summary

Aviso, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities across multifamily projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, enforce OSHA safety standards, and manage short-term schedules and site logistics to keep projects moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years in the construction industry, with a minimum of 3 years serving as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
• Project History: A strong track record managing multifamily housing projects ranging from 50 to 300 units. Familiarity with affordable housing (LIHTC) development is a plus.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of construction means and methods, and proficiency in tools like Procore, Autodesk Build, MS Project, and Google Suite.
• Certifications: OSHA 10 is required; OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR are highly preferred.
• Mindset: A hands‑on, proactive problem solver who communicates effectively with diverse teams and builds mutual trust with internal staff, inspectors, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Direct all on-site construction activities, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, and lead daily foreman and weekly coordination meetings to keep the project moving efficiently.
• Enforce strict OSHA safety standards, lead job hazard analyses, and ensure a clean, secure site. Immediately address and document any incidents.
• Develop short-term look-ahead schedules, manage site logistics (deliveries, equipment, staging), and proactively resolve field issues to prevent cost overruns or delays.
• Monitor all work for strict adherence to building codes and specifications. Coordinate municipal and third-party inspections while maintaining accurate "as-built" documentation.
• Partner with the project management team to process RFIs, change orders, and submittals, while keeping meticulous daily logs, field reports, and progress photos.
