Job summary

Ross Group seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead complex construction projects in the United States. You will drive safety, schedule, quality, and cost goals, coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects on track.

The role requires 5–10 years of supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to relocate to project sites across the South and Midwest, with typical 50-hour weeks and flexibility for field work.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years’ experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager with proven leadership and supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills interacting with all levels of staff and partners.
• Ability to manage rapidly changing priorities and maintain project goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage a $5 million to $50 million project from inception to completion.
• Apprise project management of progress, issues, and concerns.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and Ross Group field personnel.
• Control changes to the cost baseline and monitor cost performance.
• Maintain the project schedule and prepare look-ahead schedules.
• Notify management if events impact the schedule.
• Manage all aspects of subcontractors and close-out documents.
• Oversee quality assurance and safety guideline implementation.
• Provide accurate invoicing and direction to the Project Engineer.
