Qualifications

• 8+ years in oil insights or an analysis role for a trading organization, downstream company, or integrated company.
• Engineering degree (Master or Bachelor) strongly valued.
• Knowledge of crude oil and refined product markets, trade flows and margins.
• Strong writing and English language communication.
• Willing to travel regionally with occasional global travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts to monitor short-term crude oil and oil products market developments in the Americas.
• Develop regional fundamental analysis including supply, demand, trade flows and inventories for monthly forecasts.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to create cross-regional fundamentals views.
• Provide leadership on NGL/LPG market dynamics and monthly fundamentals.
• Mentor team members and present research at conferences and client meetings.
