What You’ll Do:

As the Lead Occupational Therapist, your role will include:

• Clinical leadershipincluding oversight, risk/complex patient management,and supervisionto our OT team, and co-facilitate monthly peersupervision with our clinical team.
• Compliance and quality assurance of clinical administration for the OT team,enhance service delivery and patient outcomes, and create/reviewresources and templates to streamline processes.
• Business development and clinical performance byengagingwithteam members to review and validate current clinical efficiency and processes, VR applications, and services. Create and/or review relevant contentfor XRHealth to reach our audience through webinars, blogs, etc. and represent XRHealth at community events where relevant.
• Maintain a reduced patient case loadto ensure your knowledge and skills remaincurrent while having time to support your team. The clinician role includes:
  • Conductingcomprehensive initial assessments to determine patient suitability for telehealth and VR services;
  • Deliveringevidence-based therapy(including VR therapy) to achieve patient goals;
  • Monitoring and documenting progress, ensuring adherence to professional standards;
  • Preparedetailed reports (assessment, progress, and summary) to referring parties or stakeholders as required;
  • Collaborating with patients, families, and other professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes; and
  • Maintainingregistrationin line with AHPRA requirements.

About You:

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic LeadOccupational Therapist who:

• Holds a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and full AHPRA registration(with no restrictions)as an Occupational Therapist.
• Located in Australia with full working rights.
• Has 3+ years’ experience, working across age groups from 10 years to older adults.
• Hasprevious experience leading a team of OTs
• Has a keen interest in digital health, virtual reality therapy, and emerging technologies.
• Thrives in a remote work environment, with an appropriate home office setup that includes high-speed internet, a computer/laptop for telehealth consults, and experience with telehealth platforms.
• Has excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to professional standards.
• Understands the NDIS framework and can tailor therapy to meet individual patient needs.
