Job summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking a qualified General Practitioner or Occupational Health Specialist to lead our plant medical program in Atlanta. The role ensures high-quality medical care, preventive health services, and compliance with occupational health requirements at the site.

You will report to the Sr. EHS Manager and collaborate with EHS, Training/Development, and government authorities. You will manage approximately 3 nurses and drive health programs across the site.

Qualifications

• General Practitioner or Occupational Health Specialist with valid medical credentials.
• 3–5 years of experience in transformation/manufacturing industries.
• Experience managing a company medical department.
• Experience leading people and coordinating about 3 nurses.
• Knowledge of NOM-035 and NOM-030; ergonomics and ABL methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive medical consultations and first aid.
• Respond to medical emergencies within the plant.
• Conduct medical assessments and provide treatment or prescriptions.
• Conduct pre-employment medical examinations.
• Develop occupational health training and materials with EHS/Training.
• Coordinate health programs and monthly management reports.
• Ensure 24-hour on-site medical/nursing coverage.
