Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of assignment.
• Prefer board-certified in Occupational Medicine or on the path toward certification.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies anywhere on the plant premises and participate in emergency drills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the medical department at the site.
• Provide advisory and consulting services to plant management, chief physician, and corporate medical operations.
• Administer first-aid and emergency care for employees, contract employees, and visitors.
• Perform medical examinations: pre-placement physicals, transfers, fitness, return-to-work, termination, and disability determinations.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors offering wellness and health promotion services to improve program efficacy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
